M\u00e1laga is a cultural city where connectivity is key to creating biodiversity corridors for pollinators and auxiliary fauna. The space will enhance urban resilience as it is designed to serve as a node in the city\u2019s green infrastructure. Climate change has guided the choice of vegetation, which is adapted to rising temperatures. Periods of drought, followed by increasingly intense torrential rains, require Nature-based Solutions (NbS) such as resilient plant species with low water requirements, planting techniques including mulches and efficient irrigation systems, and minimising disservices such as allergies.<\/p>\n

We will generate regulating and cultural ecosystem services. Increased biomass will result in energy savings, reduced air and noise pollution, and lower temperatures in public spaces and inside buildings. The proposed green roofs will also contribute to ambient temperature reduction. The project creates a healthy, sensory green space with social and psychological benefits for visitors, forming a new public gathering place that respects M\u00e1laga\u2019s idiosyncrasy, history, and culture.<\/p>\n

Dise\u00f1o para el nuevo proyecto urban\u00edstico del estudio internacional de arquitectura L35 en M\u00e1laga, que incluye entre sus espacios una plaza p\u00fablica y un hotel, adem\u00e1s de zonas comerciales y residenciales. Espacios org\u00e1nicos, cubiertas vegetales, mobiliario urbano y luminarias no contaminantes reflejan formas inspiradas en la naturaleza.<\/p>

M\u00e1laga es una ciudad cultural en la que la conectividad es clave para generar corredores de biodiversidad para los polinizadores y fauna auxiliar. El espacio contribuir\u00e1 a la resiliencia urbana de la ciudad, ya que est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para ser un nodo de la infraestructura verde. El cambio clim\u00e1tico ha determinado la elecci\u00f3n de la vegetaci\u00f3n, que se adaptar\u00e1 al aumento de temperaturas existente en nuestros ecosistemas. Periodos de sequ\u00eda, seguidos de fuertes lluvias torrenciales cada vez m\u00e1s distanciadas, requieren de Soluciones basadas en la Naturaleza (SbN) como el uso de especies vegetales resilientes con requisitos h\u00eddricos reducidos, t\u00e9cnicas de plantaci\u00f3n que incluyen acolchados y sistemas de riego eficientes, o la reducci\u00f3n de diservicios como son las alergias.<\/p>

Generaremos servicios ecosist\u00e9micos de regulaci\u00f3n y culturales. Por un lado, el aumento de biomasa en la zona tendr\u00e1 como consecuencia un ahorro energ\u00e9tico, la disminuci\u00f3n de la contaminaci\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica y ac\u00fastica, y un descenso de las temperaturas en las zonas p\u00fablicas y en el interior de los edificios. Las cubiertas vegetales proyectadas tambi\u00e9n contribuir\u00e1n a reducir la temperatura ambiente. Crearemos un espacio verde saludable y sensorial, que tendr\u00e1 beneficios sociales y psicol\u00f3gicos para sus visitantes, con nuevo un espacio p\u00fablico de encuentro para la ciudad, en el que hemos tenido en cuenta la idiosincrasia, la historia y la cultura malague\u00f1as.<\/p>
